Learn how booking requests, provider confirmations, and offline payment arrangements affect cancellations and refund expectations on EgyptTrips.
Travelers usually pay providers directly on arrival, so many cases involve cancellation handling and communication rather than a platform-issued refund transaction.
If a booking request remains pending or is not confirmed, the traveler can usually cancel without a platform payment charge because EgyptTrips does not process the traveler payment online in the default workflow.
After confirmation, any cancellation terms depend on the provider policy shown on the listing, the service timing, and the offline agreement between traveler and provider.
If a confirmed service is not delivered materially as described, EgyptTrips may review the case, record evidence, and take marketplace measures such as warnings, listing review, or access restrictions.
Provider commission is handled separately from traveler payment through manual settlement proof and admin confirmation. This does not mean the platform has collected the traveler payment online.
